I installed the "Shorty" 08+ DP on my 2011yr WRX sedan over a month ago and reflashed the car to the Cobb Stage 2 pluss "SF" intake (off the shelf) tuning map. The car has been running great and am very satisfied with the DP. I decided to keep the stock main or rear most cat. and the stock cat-back exhaust installed at this time mainly do to the overly aggresive vehical inspections they have in this state. The best thing is that I get increased performance with only a slight increase in noise, just the way I like it. The only thing I would improve on the pipe is to make it fully in 304 stainless not just the flanges but keep the unpolished for stealth.

I am running the stock main cat and catback connected to the shorty DP.
I purchased this used and the DP held up great and looks almost new. It seems to be very well made.
I was looking for an exhaust setup so I could go "stage 2" but didn't want something loud. So far this DP has worked great for me and I am hitting all the boost targets. I have not dynoed the car yet, so I am unsure if the shorty lacks power compared to a full DP. I daily drive my car and do not planning on seriously tracking it.
If you are looking for something loud look for a different solution than me. If you want stealth power, think about this shorty DP as an option.
