Finally. A downpipe for the 2008 STi/WRX and Legacy GT with the quality/fitment expected from MadDad. This "shorty" DP will mate with the last factory cat pipe, leaving you with the least restrictive factory cat,(the one that can be seen during visual inspections). True divorced wastegate design with separtor flange and dedicated wastegate dumptube. The pipe also includes an auxiliary 02 bung in the head for running a wideband af gauge or for dyno tuning sessions. Hand TIG welded with pride. This pipe is manufactured 100% in the U.S.A

Great DP for a stealth setup June 5, 2011

I am running the stock main cat and catback connected to the shorty DP.

I purchased this used and the DP held up great and looks almost new.  It seems to be very well made.

I was looking for an exhaust setup so I could go "stage 2" but didn't want something loud.  So far this DP has worked great for me and I am hitting all the boost targets.  I have not dynoed the car yet, so I am unsure if the shorty lacks power compared to a full DP.  I daily drive my car and do not planning on seriously tracking it.

If you are looking for something loud look for a different solution than me.  If you want stealth power, think about this shorty DP as an option.
